Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a pivotal role in developing and upholding quality assurance initiatives at our Equipment Manufacturing facility. This role collaborates closely with purchasing, operations, and engineering teams to ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and refine quality assurance programs and processes.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of quality KPIs, driving improvement initiatives based on historical data.
- Facilitate corrective action responses and support continuous improvement projects.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive quality control processes tailored to customer needs.
- Implement training programs to enhance quality awareness and compliance among staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality systems within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in Supplier Quality Management and Root Cause Analysis.
- Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities, capable of engaging with all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and statistical analysis software.
- Willingness to travel as required.
