The Facilities Engineer plays a crucial role in leveraging engineering systems to ensure the reliability of facility operations while pinpointing opportunities for Continuous Improvement.
This role is situated within the Facilities and Maintenance department and requires on-site presence. At Cytiva, our mission is to propel future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of building systems operations, maintenance, and repair.
- Design, install, and maintain plant utility, HVAC, and building management systems.
- Plan, execute, and oversee capital projects aimed at upgrading existing facility equipment to enhance processes, reduce costs, or improve safety.
- Engage in the development of CAPEX processes to ensure the facility meets all operational requirements.
- Solicit project bids, evaluate costs, and supervise contractor activities on-site.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Facilities Engineering.
- Expertise in mechanical systems and utilities within a comparable industry.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, SAP, and MS Office.
- Strong mechanical/electrical skills and a solid understanding of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
