The Senior Project Construction Manager is integral to the successful execution of projects at TEI Construction Services, Inc. Reporting directly to the Project Director, this role is responsible for delivering comprehensive administrative and technical guidance on assigned projects. Emphasizing safety, quality, timelines, and financial performance, the Senior Project Construction Manager oversees all project-related activities both on-site and off-site. This position demands proactive leadership, exceptional communication skills, and effective collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve targeted outcomes in financial performance, safety standards, quality assurance, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction for designated projects.
  • Ensure project implementation aligns with TEI Construction Services' policies, procedures, and specific project requirements.
  • Oversee complex procurement processes and subcontract agreements, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
  • Lead and coordinate the efforts of all project personnel, maintaining compliance with TEI's ethical standards and code of conduct.
  • Act as the primary liaison with clients for all daily project matters, upholding contractual commitments and resolving any disputes that arise.
  • Facilitate regular project and client meetings to enhance communication, assess progress, and address challenges.
  • Assist in structuring key leadership roles on-site and developing field labor strategies.
  • Implement change management strategies and negotiate modifications with clients as necessary.
  • Ensure robust project controls are established to effectively manage and report on budgets, expenses, and forecasts.
  • Document all project turnover activities and secure final acceptance of completed work from clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
  • At least 15 years of project management experience in the industrial construction sector, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
  • Experience in sectors such as Oil, Gas, Industrial Chemicals, or Power Generation construction is essential.
  • Proven project experience with budgets ranging from $5M to $100M, including multiple projects with significant subcontractor involvement.
  • Successful track record in managing merit labor and direct hire construction projects.
  • Engagement with key personnel in construction labor management.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with on-site staff.
  • Capability to contribute effectively as a member of a project leadership team.

We provide base salary ranges for all positions, which reflect the scope of responsibilities and regional considerations. Final compensation may vary based on various factors, including education, relevant experience, and certifications.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this Senior Project Construction Manager position is $111,150-$122,850 annually.
