Senior Construction Project Coordinator

The Senior Construction Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing and executing renovation, remodeling, and finishing projects within the property portfolio. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies, project oversight, and effective stakeholder communication. The Coordinator will lead teams that include clients, architects, designers, contractors, and various other stakeholders. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Construction Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, plan, and manage projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create project plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Act as the General Contractor for selected projects.
  • Identify and engage contractors for project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to building codes and regulatory standards.
  • Provide project updates and address any concerns that arise.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Supervise on-site teams to guarantee quality workmanship.
  • Monitor material usage and manage the financial components of the project.
  • Assess project performance and conduct evaluations post-completion.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction practices and regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
