We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director, Community Management to join our team at Associa. As a key member of our community management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative support staff of our community associations and assisting with the oversight and support of various departments.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Assist with the implementation of Board policy and directives within the scope of the management agreement, working closely with the Board on strategic initiatives, policy governance, and association projects.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise all administration staff at the community, including hiring, training, supervising, and performance management.
- Operational Management: Assist with preparing schedules and establishing priorities for routine and special work projects, as well as administering the various functions of the community within the projected and approved operating budget.
- Liaison and Communication: Act as a liaison between the Board of Directors and residents in the execution of established policies and the conveyance of resident grievances, as well as working with the Board and legal counsel, and the Board and Board Advisory Committees.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of the Association Board of Directors, the General Manager, and how those roles interface with the requests of homeowners, as well as knowledge of typical business correspondence and conflict resolution techniques.
- Education and Experience: Associates Degree Required, Bachelors Degree Preferred, 6+ years of directly related or closely related experience, 4+ years of Community Association experience, and excellent leadership and people skills.
