Program Director, Nuclear Technology

We are seeking a highly qualified Program Director for our Nuclear Technology program at Cape Fear Community College. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of the program, ensuring it meets the needs of students and industry partners.
The Program Director will be responsible for planning, directing, and participating in the instruction of the Nuclear Technology program, developing supplemental materials and tests, and maintaining accurate records of student attendance and performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Nuclear Technology, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and industry partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Nuclear Technology program curriculum
- Lead the development and implementation of program goals, objectives, and policies
- Participate in the recruitment and retention of students
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure program effectiveness
- Monitor and evaluate program efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nuclear Technology or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Nuclear Technology
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and industry partners
