Overview

Are you enthusiastic about working with APIs and SDKs? At Esri, we are seeking skilled engineers to join our team and contribute to innovative solutions that expand the reach of our software. As a Product Engineer on the ArcGIS Maps SDK Team, you will engage in a variety of tasks, from designing and testing new functionalities to enhancing the usability of our SDKs for native application development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop visually appealing example applications and samples utilizing the latest technologies from Apple and features of ArcGIS.
  • Collaborate with internal product and development teams to understand and influence forthcoming platform technologies, features, and tools.
  • Establish and execute comprehensive testing workflows to validate product capabilities and ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Evaluate product quality and readiness for release.
  • Create engaging demonstrations that illustrate common geospatial workflows and showcase product features.
  • Produce developer resources, including tutorials, blogs, code snippets, and conceptual guides.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with development on the Apple iOS platform using Swift.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Quick comprehension of new technology concepts and the ability to apply them effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, GIS, or a related discipline.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Capability to design exceptional user experiences for applications.
  • Practical experience with Esri ArcGIS software or other geospatial technologies.
  • A strong interest in exploring and experimenting with the latest developer technologies to create innovative solutions.
