Are you enthusiastic about APIs and SDKs? At Esri, we are seeking skilled engineers who can contribute to our mission of enhancing Esri software accessibility. As a Product Engineer on the ArcGIS Maps SDK Team, you will engage in various tasks, including the design and testing of new functionalities, as well as improving the usability of SDKs for native application development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop visually appealing example applications and samples utilizing the latest Apple technologies alongside ArcGIS features.
- Collaborate with internal product and development teams to understand and influence forthcoming platform technologies, features, and tools.
- Establish and execute comprehensive testing workflows to validate product capabilities, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Evaluate product quality and readiness for release.
- Create engaging demonstrations that illustrate common geospatial workflows and showcase product features.
- Produce developer resources, including tutorials, blogs, code snippets, and conceptual guides.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with development on the Apple iOS platform using Swift.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent time management, prioritization, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Quick comprehension of new technology concepts and the ability to apply them effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, GIS, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Capability to design exceptional user experiences for applications.
- Practical experience with Esri ArcGIS software or other geospatial technologies.
- A keen interest in exploring and experimenting with the latest developer technologies to create innovative solutions.
