Your expertise in GIS, combined with user engagement, will be essential in defining software functionalities, conducting tests, creating user assistance materials, and facilitating market introductions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Managers to identify software backlog requirements, set priorities, and outline release themes.
  • Draft Scrum user stories that articulate new feature capabilities to guide the software development lifecycle.
  • Showcase software functionalities during iteration and stakeholder review meetings, integrating feedback into product backlogs.
  • Act as the primary contact for the development team regarding acceptance criteria for features under development.
  • Contribute to user interface design for tools and features being developed in ArcGIS Pro.
  • Create and execute test plans; develop and manage testing datasets (including N-path testing, acceptance testing, and regression testing).
  • Develop automated testing procedures.
  • Produce user guide documentation.
  • Serve as a technical liaison to practice teams and solution engineers.
  • Conduct technical reviews of user guide documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and usability.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field (software development, GIS, IT, architecture/AEC).
  • Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro; familiarity with ArcGIS Enterprise, Online, and Mobile.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of GIS data management practices.
  • Knowledge of Indoor GIS concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, information systems, IT, geography, computer science, or a related STEM field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with/knowledge of the following:
    • Participating in a software development team utilizing the Scrum methodology.
    • Working with 3D data, including CAD/Autodesk and BIM/REVIT.
    • Creating and implementing test plans.
    • Authoring user assistance materials and user stories.
    • Serving as a Scrum Product Owner.
    • Utilizing building scanning technologies and methodologies.
    • Managing Enterprise Geodatabases (SQL Server, Oracle) and facilitating multi-user editing.
    • Data modeling and spatial modeling.
    • Proficiency in Python.
