Your role will involve designing, constructing, and evaluating AI Copilot experiences that empower our users in unprecedented ways, influencing sectors such as government, public safety, conservation, imagery, and beyond.


In this position, you will collaborate with a diverse global team comprising software engineers, product engineers, designers, product managers, and release engineers, all dedicated to delivering an array of cutting-edge features.

Responsibilities

• Engage with users and industry specialists to pinpoint key use cases and workflows
• Aid in the design and user experience of ArcGIS Pro AI Copilot
• Create and execute test cases while validating bug resolutions
• Support the upkeep, monitoring, and expansion of the automated testing suite
• Diagnose production challenges in current and previous software iterations
• Collaborate with feature teams to integrate Copilot functionalities across the ArcGIS Platform
• Investigate and remain informed about the latest advancements in AI and application development frameworks
• Share your workflows and projects through samples, tutorials, blog articles, videos, and help documentation
Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an application development language (Python, C#)
• Familiarity with AI and Machine Learning principles
• Experience in creating training datasets and fine-tuning/training AI models (NLP or vision)
• Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment
• Understanding of software development methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Bachelor's degree in GIS, computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline
Recommended Qualifications

• Experience with natural language processing and generative models
• Background in developing AI applications using frameworks such as Semantic Kernel or LangChain
• Knowledge of Esri ArcGIS platform technologies
• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles
• Master's degree in GIS, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is

$72,800-$124,800 USD
