Position Overview:

The Director of Gift Revenue Operations is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational execution of gift revenue management, financial oversight, data analytics, and compliance associated with philanthropic contributions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership:
    Directs and supervises the gift revenue operations team, promoting a culture of teamwork, innovation, and accountability. Responsible for mentoring and developing team members to enhance performance and support individual career growth, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Financial Management:
    Establishes and maintains quality control standards for the collection, documentation, and management of gift revenues, ensuring adherence to established policies and regulations. Manages the accurate processing and reconciliation of donations and pledges, coordinating with finance for fund creation and documentation.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    Employs data analytics tools to monitor and evaluate gift revenue performance, providing insights for informed decision-making and service improvements. Utilizes reports and dashboards to assist senior management in tracking fundraising progress and campaign outcomes.
  • Compliance Oversight:
    Ensures adherence to policies, laws, and regulations governing fundraising activities and donor relations. Develops and implements policies related to gift acceptance and financial management, serving as a liaison to auditors and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
  • Ethical Standards:
    Promotes ethical practices and policies regarding the management of donor information and privacy, safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles. Strong financial management skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degrees or certifications in finance or accounting are preferred, with CPA credentials considered a plus.
