We are in search of an IT Senior Software Engineer to bolster our expanding Enterprise Services division within the Information Technology (IT) department. Our IT team excels in delivering essential services that empower our clients to meet their financial aspirations. Key Responsibilities:

As an IT Senior Software Engineer, you will join our Enterprise Services team. This role requires a proactive individual to establish new standards, processes, and best practices for microservices development. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be confident in engaging with various organizational sectors, leading collaborative sessions to expedite the transition of API/Service development to cloud environments. The following activities are essential for modernizing API/Services development:

  • Design and Development: Engineer microservices systems utilizing languages such as C# (.NET Core), and leverage Azure services including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure App Services. Transform legacy .NET applications into cloud-native microservices architecture.
  • API Management: Create REST API services adhering to OpenAPI specifications and integrate them with Azure API Gateway.
  • Containerization: Implement containerization of microservices using Docker and deploy them on AKS or Azure App Services.
  • Authentication and Authorization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement OAuth2.0 and JWT for secure inter-service communication.
  • Scalability and Resilience: Optimize microservices for low latency, scalability, and high availability.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Work with others to establish monitoring and logging solutions utilizing Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Expertise in C# and .NET Core.
  • Strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with Azure services (AKS, Azure App Services, API Gateway).
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., Cosmos DB, MongoDB).

Additional Assets:

  • Experience with microservice architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Comprehensive understanding of web services, networking, and identity/access management.
  • Experience managing production workloads in Azure.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Azure Functions for serverless computing.
