Position Overview


The Senior Java Software Engineer is tasked with leading the design, development, testing, debugging, maintenance, and documentation of software components assigned to the engineering team.

This position requires steering the technical design process, offering leadership in technical standards and methodologies, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products.


The Senior Engineer collaborates with various departments to promote continuous enhancement in software delivery processes and methodologies.

Essential Qualifications:

Expertise in Java and Spring Boot frameworks.

Experience with cloud computing services, particularly Azure.

Strong capabilities in front-end development.

Proven experience in guiding and mentoring development teams.

Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.

Exceptional problem-solving and debugging abilities.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Capacity to manage multiple tasks and work autonomously.

Desirable Qualifications:

Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker.

Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins.

Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.

Understanding of database management systems and SQL.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of developers in the design and execution of significant applications.

Establish and uphold technical standards and best practices.

Collaborate with application, business, and infrastructure teams to foster strong partnerships.

Develop and review programming specifications.

Design, code, and unit test application code following SDLC best practices.

Create and manage detailed estimates and work plans for design, development, implementation, and rollout tasks.

Ensure that technical system documentation is accurate and maintained throughout all phases of the SDLC.

Oversee and engage in all phases of system testing.

Communicate effectively with relevant teams to manage assignments and ensure that completed tasks meet quality standards.

Drive continuous improvement in software delivery processes and methodologies.

Provide technical leadership and support for Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) initiatives.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
