Human Resources Manager I

King County is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager I to join our team. As an HR Manager I, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the HR team, managing HR information systems, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, including coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
- Manage HR information systems, including data input, employee records maintenance, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including collective bargaining agreements and government regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, including recruitment, hiring, and employee relations.
- Collaborate with other departments, including management and employees, to ensure effective communication and resolution of HR-related issues.
- Three or more years of experience in human resources, including experience in HRIS management and labor law compliance.
- Experience in supervising direct reports, including conducting performance appraisals and coaching.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations, including collective bargaining agreements and government regulations.
- Ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a full-time position, and the selected candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The selected candidate will also be required to work collaboratively with other departments and teams to ensure effective communication and resolution of HR-related issues.
