Role Summary:

The Clinical Liaison plays a pivotal role in fostering connections with local healthcare providers, enhancing patient admissions through strategic relationship-building. This position is integral in collaborating with hospital administration and medical leadership to facilitate patient placements in rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

Core Functions:
  • Engage in strategic planning and development of operational policies to align with the objectives of the local healthcare market.
  • Support the identification and execution of initiatives related to physician recruitment, marketing strategies, and program implementation.
  • Collaborate with management to create and execute tailored Physician Development Plans for specific hospitals.
  • Work in tandem with leadership to identify target physicians and coordinate outreach efforts in acute care settings.
  • Assist in developing business agreements and conduct feasibility assessments for various projects.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key medical professionals and hospital management.
  • Dedicate significant time to community engagement and census development initiatives.
  • Coordinate with departments to enhance marketing efforts and strengthen relationships with local healthcare stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date presentations and proposal materials that reflect the organization's strategic goals.
  • Implement tactics to optimize patient admissions, maintaining a high conversion rate from referrals.
  • Contribute to the facility's sales team by coordinating outreach efforts to key accounts.
  • Conduct regular market analyses and maintain a comprehensive sales plan.
  • Effectively manage assigned territory and account planning.
  • Conduct pre-assessments to ensure patient eligibility for rehabilitation services.
  • Facilitate patient admissions through effective communication and information coordination.
  • Review medical records to determine rehabilitation necessity.
  • Document follow-up actions and maintain communication with diverse audiences.
  • Conduct facility tours for potential referral sources.
Qualifications:

Education:
  • Associate's degree in a health-related field.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare or Business is preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Valid driver's license and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.

Experience:
  • 1-3 years of experience in healthcare, long-term care, or insurance sales/marketing.
  • Experience in proposal development is preferred.
  • Public relations experience is a plus.
  • Registered Nurse preferred; LPN/LVN candidates may also be considered.
  • RN candidates must have at least one year of patient assessment experience; LPN/LVN candidates should have a minimum of two years.
Additional Requirements:

Participation in company-sponsored training to ensure compliance with health information regulations is expected. Adherence to company policies and ethical standards is mandatory.
