Job Summary:

The University Medical Center of El Paso seeks a highly skilled Physician Recruiter to join our team. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent in the medical field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract and retain top physicians and mid-level providers.
  • Networking and Outreach: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the medical community, including physicians, hospitals, and medical schools.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage physician contracts, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
  • Onboarding and Integration: Coordinate the onboarding process for new physicians, ensuring a smooth transition into the hospital's medical staff.
  • Staff Retention: Develop and implement strategies to improve staff retention, including professional development opportunities and practice enhancement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven ability to lead and communicate effectively with physicians, mid-level providers, and hospital staff.
  • Analytical and Negotiation Skills: Excellent analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex reimbursement methodologies.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry, including government reimbursement methodologies and regulatory requirements.
  • Organizational and Contract Management Skills: Strong organizational and contract management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Education and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Three years of experience in physician recruitment, with a minimum of three years of experience in a leadership role.
