Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor and representative of the SumUp brand to our merchants.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to mentor, empower, and educate merchants about our product offerings and their benefits.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of our technology and how it supports millions of merchants daily, while also being aware of competing products in the market.
  • Consistently achieve and surpass performance metrics related to revenue and customer retention.
  • Engage with customers through various communication channels to ensure their satisfaction and effective use of SumUp products.
  • Address and resolve inquiries and issues raised by merchants promptly.
  • Identify opportunities for merchants to utilize additional products and services.
  • Effectively upsell products that will enhance merchant growth and manage the sales process within our CRM system.
  • Contribute to process optimization and assist in creating new content for our support and account management initiatives.
  • Enhance your knowledge of the payments industry by collaborating with various departments, including Marketing, Customer Experience, Product, Sales, Logistics, and Compliance.
  • Report on any recurring merchant issues or opportunities related to our products.
  • Continuously recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and support global teams with upsell initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Reliable self-starter with strong prioritization skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce, particularly in case management.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.

  • Comfortable using various digital devices.
  • Empathetic and concise communicator with customers.
  • Previous experience in customer service, account management, or client relations is preferred.
