- Engage in the strategic planning and development of operational initiatives to align with the organization's mission and vision.
- Support management in identifying key projects related to physician engagement, marketing strategies, and compliance with regulatory changes.
- Collaborate in the creation and implementation of tailored Physician Development Plans for specific hospitals.
- Work closely with management to identify and target relevant physicians within acute care settings.
- Assist in the formulation of business agreements and conduct feasibility assessments in partnership with management.
- Establish and nurture relationships with influential physicians and healthcare leaders.
- Build rapport with hospital administrators and decision-makers in the community.
- Dedicate significant time to outreach efforts aimed at increasing patient admissions.
- Coordinate with departments to develop financial forecasts and marketing strategies to enhance program offerings and physician recruitment.
- Maintain up-to-date presentations and proposal materials in line with the organization's goals.
- Implement strategies to maximize admissions for patients requiring sub-acute care through consistent engagement with referral sources.
- Achieve a high conversion rate from referrals to admissions.
- Contribute as a key member of the sales team by supporting coordinated outreach efforts.
- Conduct regular market analyses and complete business development reporting.
- Effectively manage assigned territories and accounts.
- Ensure timely completion of objectives and goals.
- Evaluate potential patients to determine suitability for rehabilitation services.
- Facilitate patient admissions through comprehensive assessments and coordination of information.
- Review medical records to confirm the necessity for acute rehabilitation services.
- Prepare for outreach activities with thorough pre-call planning.
- Document results and follow-up actions for all outreach activities.
- Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, both professional and non-professional.
- Conduct facility tours for prospective patients and stakeholders.
Education:
- Associate's degree in a health-related field.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare or Business is preferred.
Valid driver's license and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required. Maintenance of licensure/certification is essential throughout employment.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in healthcare, long-term care, or insurance sales/marketing.
- 1 year of experience in proposal development.
- Experience in public relations is preferred.
- Registered Nurse preferred; LPN/LVN candidates may also be considered.
- RN candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in patient assessments; LPN/LVN candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in patient assessments.
Participation in company-sponsored training to ensure compliance with patient privacy regulations is mandatory. Adherence to company policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards is essential.
