Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls and schedule patient appointments efficiently.
  • Provide assistance to callers, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
  • Welcome patients upon arrival and oversee their waiting experience.
  • Conduct check-in and check-out procedures, including insurance verification and document management.
  • Collect patient payments and issue receipts as required.
  • Handle walk-in patients and visitors with professionalism.
  • Maintain and organize medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Process requests for medical records and maintain appropriate logs.
  • Build and sustain effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and the community.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team.
  • Prepare and maintain the refreshment area for patients.
  • Assist in keeping communal areas tidy and organized.
  • Occasional local travel may be required for meetings or to support other locations.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year of data entry experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with general office practices.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in a medical office setting.
Essential Skills:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both in-person and over the phone.
