Position Summary:
The Clinical Liaison plays a crucial role in fostering connections with local healthcare providers, aiming to enhance patient admissions and support the strategic objectives of Everest Rehabilitation Hospitals LLC. This position is pivotal in bridging communication between the facility and the medical community, ensuring a seamless flow of information regarding patient rehabilitation needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Engaging in the development and execution of strategic plans to align with the operational goals of the organization.
- Collaborating with management to identify and implement special initiatives related to physician engagement and market outreach.
- Assisting in the formulation and execution of tailored Physician Development Plans for hospitals.
- Building and nurturing relationships with key medical professionals and hospital administrators.
- Spending a significant portion of time in the field to drive patient census growth.
- Coordinating with various departments to support marketing efforts and enhance community partnerships.
- Maintaining up-to-date marketing materials and proposals that reflect the organization's mission and operational goals.
- Developing strategies to maximize patient admissions through effective outreach to referral sources.
- Conducting thorough assessments to ensure potential patients meet the criteria for rehabilitation services.
- Facilitating patient admissions through effective communication and coordination of necessary information.
- Conducting regular market analyses to inform business development strategies.
Education:
- Associate's degree in a health-related field.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare or Business is preferred.
Valid driver's license and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in healthcare, long-term care, or insurance marketing.
- Experience in proposal development is preferred.
- Public relations experience is a plus.
- Registered Nurse (RN) preferred; LPN/LVN candidates may also be considered.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in conducting patient assessments and screenings.
- Knowledge of healthcare operational and clinical systems.
