PURVIS Systems is currently looking for candidates for the role of Electronic Warfare Systems Specialist at both Junior and Mid-Level to engage in on-site support at various client locations. Responsibilities will encompass analysis, design, capability enhancements, testing support, and ongoing assistance for Electronic Warfare systems. This role is part of a cohesive technical team comprised of engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and modernize systems to align with evolving Navy requirements.
  • Conduct analysis and develop Engineering Change Instructions and Proposals.
  • Evaluate installation and system specifications to determine optimal equipment arrangements.
  • Perform gap analysis, fault identification, and failure assessments.
  • Recommend process enhancements for existing systems and operational workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and repair Electronic Warfare and Imaging Systems through remote and on-site support.
  • Gather and evaluate technical data related to modernization and installation activities, including pre-installation checks and post-installation verification tests.
  • Create, update, and present comprehensive reports documenting installation activities, including status updates, test outcomes, and issues.
  • Document and present findings from trade studies.
  • Develop and review technical drawing packages.
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of technical data packages.
  • Formulate, review, and execute testing plans and procedures.
  • Draft Concept of Operations (CONOPS) documentation and performance specifications.
  • Support integration and environmental testing events, including factory acceptance testing.
  • Generate program status reports encompassing technical assessments, risk evaluations, and recommendations.
  • Evaluate current system capabilities against immediate needs and provide technical guidance to address deficiencies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, etc.) is preferred; however, candidates with a BS in STEM fields and relevant engineering experience will also be considered.
  • Significant experience in operating DoD Electronic Warfare, Imaging, and/or Radar systems will be highly regarded in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering functions related to design, troubleshooting, analysis, reporting, and testing of complex systems is required for Mid-level candidates.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, while regularly interfacing with diverse client personnel.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with Adobe Acrobat.
  • Prior experience with systems such as the AN/BLQ-10 Electronic Warfare System and Early Warning Receiver is highly desirable.
  • Experience in operating and maintaining Imaging Systems like ISIS, Type 8/18 Periscopes, and Photonics Masts is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with detection processing, tracking algorithms, and common ARPA functions is beneficial.

This position may require obtaining or applying for a government security clearance.
