Lead Engineer for Towed Array Systems

McLaughlin Research Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Towed Array Engineer to join our team at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport's (NUWCDIVNPT) Naval Array Technical Support Center (NATSC). As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing lifecycle support for all Navy towed arrays, including surface ship and submarine applications.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and testing towed arrays
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all Jigs, Tools, Fixtures (JTF) and test and plant equipment in accordance with the maintenance procedures in the NATSC CM System
- Develop and implement technology improvements to NATSC operations by modifying and/or upgrading JTF and plant equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of towed array systems
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering or science discipline
- Active Secret Clearance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
