Position Summary

As a key member of our team, you will support the application of quantitative models and advanced analytical techniques (including SAS, Python, and R) to financial data. Your contributions will help us assess business performance, address complex financial inquiries, and guide strategic decisions. While model development is part of the role, the primary focus will be on data analysis and interpretation.

Your Contributions

In the role of Multifamily Capital Markets Analyst, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Efficiently document and analyze substantial datasets using advanced financial engineering methodologies.
  • Engage in financial forecasting and analysis, including scenario assessments and stress testing.
  • Execute models and interpret results to provide actionable insights.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, understandable conclusions for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with model developers to evaluate new models and enhance existing ones.
  • Conduct data validation and regression testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Qualifications

Experience and Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Key Skills:

  • Proficient in programming, including coding and debugging in relevant languages.
  • Ability to collaborate respectfully with diverse teams to achieve common objectives.
  • Strong business acumen, including the ability to design models and interpret market insights.
  • Expertise in documentation and reporting for data analysis and decision-making using tools like Crystal Reports and Excel.
  • Skilled in data analysis to identify trends and inform conclusions.
  • Proficient in statistical methods, including hypothesis testing and regression analysis.
  • Experience with document management to ensure collaborative efficiency.
  • Ability to visually represent data through charts and dashboards using tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Proficient in Bloomberg Professional, SQL, Tableau, and Excel.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and AWS.
  • Familiarity with R, Java, and Python programming.
  • Experience using project management tools like JIRA.
