Position Title:
HR Representative

Compensation Range:
$55,000-65,000

Role Objective:

The HR Representative is essential to our organization, managing the complete recruitment cycle, ensuring the acquisition of exceptional talent, and contributing to our ongoing success.

This position will concentrate on high-volume field roles within retail, cultivation, distribution, and manufacturing, with a primary focus on supporting our operations in existing states and potential future expansions.

The HR Representative will actively connect with key organizations, organize job fairs, and cultivate relationships to enhance our candidate pool.

Moreover, this role will collaborate with hiring managers to comprehend business objectives, maintain alignment with staffing requirements, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle Recruitment Support (50%):

Workforce Planning Collaboration:
Work closely with hiring managers and department leaders to grasp current and future business goals and staffing needs. Assist in translating this information into effective recruitment strategies.

Job Description Development:
Aid in crafting and refining job descriptions, ensuring clarity and alignment with organizational objectives. Suggest modifications to existing roles when necessary.

Recruitment Process Management:

Support the coordination of the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate management, interview scheduling, offer letter preparation, and orientation.

Ensure a smooth and efficient process.

Compliance Awareness:
Stay updated on local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations, particularly within the cannabis sector. Assist in maintaining compliance records and adjusting processes as necessary.

Candidate Experience Enhancement:
Contribute to fostering a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey, providing timely and constructive communication to candidates.
Talent Sourcing and Acquisition (10%):

Candidate Pipeline Development:

Proactively identify, engage, and maintain a pool of potential candidates for high-volume field roles within retail, cultivation, distribution, and manufacturing.

Utilize various tools, including job boards, social media platforms, and industry-specific networks.

Market Insights:
Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor hiring practices. Conduct regular research to identify emerging talent pools and opportunities for talent acquisition.

Relationship Building:
Collaborate with external organizations, associations, and educational institutions to establish and nurture relationships. Participate in job fairs, industry events, and networking functions to promote our brand and attract potential talent.

Candidate Assessment:
Assist in evaluating candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit. Participate in pre-screening interviews, coordinate evaluations, and provide feedback to hiring managers.
Talent Strategy Support (10%):

Sourcing Methods Exploration:

Engage in exploring and implementing new sourcing methods and strategies, with a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Contribute to partnerships with career fairs, universities, workforce development centers, and other relevant institutions.

SOPs Development:

Assist in creating and executing internal processes and SOPs to streamline recruitment efforts and align with the company's staffing goals.


Interviewer Training Support:
Help ensure that all interviewers receive proper training on effective interview techniques and compliance requirements. Participate in ongoing improvements to the interview process.
Data Analysis and Reporting (10%):

Recruitment Metrics Tracking:
Assist in developing, tracking, and analyzing key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire and source of hire. Support the provision of regular reports and insights to company leadership.

ATS Utilization:

Participate in the use and optimization of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to create comprehensive reports, enhance team accountability, and improve the sourcing, selecting, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), and hiring processes.

HR Shared Services Support (20%):
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HR initiatives that align with organizational goals.
Support process improvements and change management initiatives.
Assist in implementing change management strategies to support organizational initiatives.
Work with leaders to address employee concerns and foster a positive change culture.
Other HR Duties & Responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in a Talent Acquisition Partner/Specialist, Recruiter, Sourcer, or similar role.
Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting, including various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience coordinating and executing large-scale recruitment events.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed).
Prior experience in a fast-paced corporate and/or start-up environment.
Working Conditions:
Working hours may vary depending on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to travel regularly across the state of Colorado to Schwazze locations, with potential travel to other states/locations as needed (up to 25% travel expected).

Use of personal credit card required for expenses, with immediate reimbursement upon submitting approved expenses.
