The Stanford Radiology team is recognized globally for its innovative approaches in physics and engineering, striving to enhance both anatomic and functional imaging.
Our collaborative teams of scientists and industry partners are at the forefront of developing advanced techniques for early cancer detection, utilizing molecular imaging, nanotechnology, and systems biology. We are committed to providing improved, targeted, and compassionate care for cancer patients.
Division Highlights:
The Neuroradiology Division is composed of 20 distinguished faculty members and 16 fellows specializing in the interpretation of imaging studies related to the brain, spine, and neck, as well as neurointervention.
We offer cutting-edge treatments for cerebral aneurysms and vascular malformations, including stenting and image-guided biopsies. Our expertise encompasses advanced neuroimaging techniques such as dual-energy CT, functional MRI, and diffusion tensor imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries and determine appropriate actions.
- Serve as a resource for a defined set of policies and procedures.
- Organize and manage conferences, seminars, and events, including vendor recommendations and logistics coordination.
- Draft and produce routine communications and documents, ensuring proper formatting and dissemination.
- Plan and manage calendars, resolve conflicts, and arrange travel in compliance with relevant policies.
- Process and monitor financial transactions, addressing discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment, coordinating office moves as necessary.
- Act as a point of contact for maintenance and safety concerns, reporting incidents as required.
- Track completion of mandatory training and maintain website content.
- Provide human resources support, including time cards and faculty affairs assistance.
- Guide and train student and contingent workers, overseeing their workloads and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma with three years of administrative experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Proficient in office software and email, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, along with outstanding customer service skills.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
Physical Requirements:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks and frequently sit.
- Occasionally stand, walk, reach, and manipulate objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
Work Standards:
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
