Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

Stanford University School of Medicine is a world-renowned institution for medical education, research, and patient care. The Educational Programs and Services (EPS) department is seeking a part-time temporary Technical Support Specialist to join their team.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will provide technical support to the Stanford MD Admissions team, ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process. This includes troubleshooting audio/video issues, navigating different applications, and checking equipment compatibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct office hours to assist interviewers with technical issues
  • Provide technical support on interview days, including Zoom troubleshooting and application navigation
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to handle confidential information and assist with interview preparations
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree plus two years of relevant experience, or combination of education and experience
  • General computer skills and experience troubleshooting common issues
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Zoom and virtual meeting platforms
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
What We Offer:

Stanford University provides a competitive hourly rate of $36.00 to $42.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
