The Industrial Project Engineer will oversee the design and execution of industrial furnace projects, including new builds, refurbishments, and upgrades. This role requires effective communication with the combustion team, suppliers, and clients to ensure project success. The Project Engineer will collaborate with various departments and vendors to deliver projects while providing mechanical support during the construction phase. A combination of engineering knowledge, project management capabilities, and meticulous attention to detail is essential to meet quality standards, timelines, and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

· Direct and manage furnace manufacturing initiatives, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.

· Create comprehensive project plans that outline scope, schedule, resources, and risk management approaches.

· Facilitate coordination among cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality control, to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.

Engineering Management:

· Supervise the design and engineering processes for high-temperature furnaces, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and industry regulations.

· Conduct feasibility assessments and performance tests to validate design proposals and guarantee reliability under extreme conditions.

· Review and endorse engineering drawings, specifications, and related documentation.

Client Engagement:

· Act as the primary liaison for clients throughout the project lifecycle, promptly addressing inquiries and concerns.

· Provide regular updates regarding project status, including potential challenges and recommended solutions.

Quality Control:

· Ensure all furnace components and systems comply with quality standards and regulatory guidelines.

· Implement and supervise testing protocols to confirm furnace performance and safety prior to delivery.

Identify opportunities for enhancing processes and reducing costs during project execution.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Industrial Engineering.
  • OSHA 10 Hour Training – training provided.
  • Valid US Driver's License.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to handle equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must wear personal protective equipment in field environments.

Work Environment:

  • Frequent travel required.
  • Work primarily in an indoor industrial setting.
