Job Title: Business Development and Capture Manager

Blue Sky Innovative Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development and Capture Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and identifying new opportunities in the National Capital Region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Becoming familiarized with the company's vision and mission
  • Setting and accomplishing revenue and other growth-related goals and objectives
  • Identifying potential new clients and new opportunities through market research
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies
  • Assisting with drafting proposals, sales presentations, reference material, and other collateral as required
  • Managing multiple tasks concurrently while meeting deadlines
  • Scheduling and attending meetings with prospective customers, including assisting with and conducting webinars and seminars
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in business development, sales, or a similar field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience leading winning proposal efforts
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while handling multiple tasks
  • Strong organization and task management skills
  • Demonstrated networking ability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools
