Your Role: As a registered dietitian, you will implement the nutrition care process to evaluate, diagnose, and provide nutritional interventions while monitoring the progress of patients.
Utilizing the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Standards of Practice, you will engage in exceptional customer service and foster respectful relationships with all individuals.
Your Contributions:
+ Assessment
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition-focused physical assessments, gather data through interviews, and analyze medical records.
- Identify nutrition risks and problems based on assessment data.
- Provide nutrition recommendations, education, and referrals as necessary.
- Deliver culturally sensitive counseling and education to patients with specific nutritional needs.
- Facilitate follow-up to track progress and adjust nutrition care plans accordingly.
- Support dietetic interns and new staff through supervised practice experiences.
Qualifications for Success:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field AND 8 years of clinical experience OR
- Graduate degree in nutrition or a related field AND 6 years of clinical experience OR
- Post-Graduate degree in nutrition or a related field AND 4 years of clinical experience.
- Graduate degree in nutrition or a related field.
- Current active registered dietitian status with the Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Current active licensed status with the Florida Department of Health.
- Board Certified specialist in the relevant practice area through CDR or nutrition support through the National Board of Nutrition Support.
