As part of our Clinical Nutrition team, you will provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to patients, ensuring that their dietary needs are met with the utmost professionalism and compassion.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized nutritional care plans based on comprehensive assessments of patient needs.
- Provide counseling to patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary options, and food selections, taking into account cultural and personal preferences.
- Maintain accurate documentation of dietary history and nutritional care data within the medical record system.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds with healthcare teams to discuss patient care strategies.
- Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and guidelines while demonstrating a commitment to excellence in patient care.
- Engage in community outreach and represent the organization at various events as needed.
Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with coursework approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Dietetics Education (CADE).
Licensure/Certification: Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and a valid Dietitian/Nutritionist license in the State.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required, with a preference for pediatric and enteral nutrition experience.
