Role Summary: As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in our Clinical Nutrition team, providing evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Management: Write orders in accordance with established policies.
  • Patient Counseling: Guide patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plans, and food choices, taking into account cultural and personal preferences.
  • Nutritional Care Planning: Develop, implement, and document tailored nutritional care plans based on comprehensive assessments of patient needs.
  • Competency Demonstration: Exhibit the necessary skills to evaluate nutritional requirements across different life stages.
  • Evidence-Based Practice: Utilize knowledge of medical nutrition therapy to provide appropriate care.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate dietary history and nutritional care data within the medical record system.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Engage in interdisciplinary rounds with physicians and healthcare teams as needed.
  • Policy Adherence: Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure excellence in service delivery.
  • Attendance: Maintain regular and punctual attendance in line with organizational standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in occasional Saturday sessions for community health programs.
  • Represent Us Organization at community events and media engagements as assigned.
  • Contribute to task forces or committees within the Clinical Nutrition Department as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with coursework approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Dietetics Education.
  • Licensure: Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and a valid Dietitian/Nutritionist license in the State.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in clinical practice; pediatric experience is preferred.
  • Specialized Skills: Experience in enteral and parenteral nutrition is advantageous.
