Position Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in supporting physicians and mid-level providers through clinical tasks and direct patient care. The LPN may also assist with appointment scheduling and other related activities to ensure optimal patient service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute clinical responsibilities in line with the LPN scope of practice and in compliance with New York State laws and regulations.
  • Measure and document patient vital signs, prepare examination rooms, and sterilize medical equipment and supplies according to established protocols.
  • Manage communication for physicians/providers regarding clinical inquiries, prescription renewals, test results, and other patient-related calls following practice guidelines.
  • Organize patient records for appointments as directed by the physician/provider.
  • Engage in scheduled team meetings to discuss and clarify roles, responsibilities, processes, and patient concerns.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited LPN program.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in New York State.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Medent software.
  • Prior experience in a clinical office environment.

  • Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Work Environment:
  • Onsite position.
Compensation:
  • Hourly pay range: $24.04 to $32.21.
