Position Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in supporting physicians and mid-level providers by engaging in clinical tasks and providing direct patient care. This position may also involve assisting with appointment scheduling and other administrative duties to ensure optimal patient service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical tasks in line with the LPN scope of practice and adhere to state regulations.
  • Measure and document patient vital signs, prepare examination rooms, and ensure the sterilization of medical equipment and supplies.
  • Manage communication for physicians/providers regarding clinical inquiries, prescription renewals, test results, and patient calls according to established protocols.
  • Prepare patient records for upcoming visits as directed by the healthcare provider.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to clarify roles, responsibilities, processes, and address patient concerns.
  • Work schedule is set between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited LPN program.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State.

  • Bending: 50%
  • Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Work Environment:

  • This position requires onsite presence.

Compensation:

  • Hourly pay range: $24.04 to $32.21.
