As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within our organization, you will play a vital role in a collaborative healthcare team focused on providing comprehensive and empathetic care to the community. LPNs are empowered to utilize their full range of skills and are actively involved in the design, execution, and assessment of care programs aimed at improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients.
- Participate in the development and evaluation of care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must possess a valid New York Nursing license; applicants with out-of-state licenses are welcome to apply.
- Education: Completion of an accredited LPN training program is required.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary; new hires may obtain this during their introductory period.
Work Environment:
- Position is primarily onsite.
- Minimal travel requirements (less than 25%).
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent use of hands and fingers, including keyboarding.
- Ability to lift and carry light loads (up to 40 lbs).
- Capability to perform tasks that may require bending, kneeling, and prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
Compensation:
- Hourly wage ranges from $24.04 to $28.
