General Overview

The Bilingual Korean/English Assistant Manager – Business Strategic Analyst is primarily tasked with facilitating the formulation, execution, and oversight of strategic initiatives within the organization. This role is crucial in assisting complex organizations to navigate intricate environments, attain their strategic goals, and foster sustainable growth and success. Additionally, this position aids in performing research and analysis to bolster strategic decision-making throughout the organization. The individual will gather and evaluate data, create forecasts and models, and prepare presentations to guide business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate data from diverse sources to support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct market and industry research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Develop and maintain databases and models to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and data for business strategy development.
  • Assist in crafting strategic plans, roadmaps, and initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, analyses, and presentations to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of strategic initiatives, recommending necessary adjustments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and external partners.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to secure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Support the development of both long-term and short-term strategic plans, including goal setting, defining success metrics, and establishing timelines. Ensure alignment between business strategies and operational activities.

Managerial Responsibilities

This position entails managerial responsibilities.

Position Type and Work Hours

This is a full-time role.

Core work hours are Monday to Friday, 1st shift.

Flexibility in hours is required.

Availability to work weekends may be requested by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English.
  • Over 5 years of experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related fields is required, along with relevant experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, critical thinking skills, and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively when necessary.
  • Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all dealings.
  • Thorough understanding of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Familiarity with the industry, including market dynamics, competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and emerging trends, is advantageous.
  • Experience in strategic management, business analysis, market research, data analysis, and finance is beneficial. Additional coursework or certifications in project management, statistics, or strategic planning are also advantageous.
