Position Overview:

As the Front Desk Manager, you will operate under the guidance of the Resort Operations Manager, taking a hands-on approach to oversee daily front office functions. Your primary focus will be to ensure our guests enjoy the highest quality experience while all team members exemplify our core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Front Office Manager in daily operations.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and inspire front office personnel.
  • Establish and uphold exceptional hospitality standards for guests and owners.
  • Facilitate seamless communication across departments.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and departmental meetings.
  • Address guest concerns with exemplary customer service, resolving issues promptly and courteously.
  • Manage staff scheduling while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with all resort standards and procedures.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with all departments and vendors.
  • Oversee the accuracy and efficiency of Front Desk, Night Audit, and PBX operations.
  • Verify that room status information is accurate and effectively communicated.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 4 years of progressive management experience in front desk operations within the timeshare industry.
  • Strong leadership and outstanding guest service abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to providing superior service to every customer.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with effective communication capabilities.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Solid computer skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
