Position Overview:

As the Front Desk Manager, you will operate under the general supervision of the Resort Operations Manager. This hands-on leadership role involves overseeing daily front office functions, ensuring that our guests enjoy the highest level of service, and that all team members are performing at their best while embodying our core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Front Office Manager in daily operations.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and inspire all front office personnel.
  • Establish high standards of hospitality service for guests and owners.
  • Facilitate effective communication across departments.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and departmental meetings.
  • Address guest concerns with prompt and courteous service.
  • Manage staff scheduling while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with all resort standards and procedures.
  • Maintain strong relationships and communication with all departments and vendors.
  • Oversee accurate execution of Front Desk, Night Audit, and PBX operations.
  • Verify that room status information is accurately maintained and communicated.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive management experience in front desk operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and exceptional guest service skills.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking capabilities, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to excellence in customer service.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
