Position Overview:

Oversee and manage Technology Risk by delivering comprehensive governance and oversight for technology risk management initiatives across the organization. Assist in executing various risk frameworks by monitoring and reporting on risk activities and compliance, identifying, assessing, and documenting risk-related matters. Cultivate effective working relationships with technology, risk, and operational teams, offering tools, capabilities, and frameworks to enhance their maturity. Proactively manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting concerns as part of daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure quality assurance and provide constructive feedback on risk reporting, including KRIs, incident reports, committee documentation, and executive summaries.
  • Identify critical risks and mitigating strategies associated with technology risk, such as Change Management, Architecture, SDLC, service continuity, cloud services, asset management, and incident/problem management.
  • Contribute to the identification, innovation, design, implementation, and advancement of an enterprise technology risk management and governance framework.
  • Provide oversight and constructive challenge regarding policies, standards, risks and controls, processes, and procedures related to technology risk.
  • Foster effective collaboration across all three lines of defense concerning Technology Risk management activities.
Qualifications Required:

Essential:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Risk Management, Financial Services, Process Improvement, or a related field.
  • Alternatively, 8+ years of experience in Risk Management, Financial Services, Process Improvement, or a related field in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in Risk Management, Financial Services, Process Improvement, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CRISC, CGEIT, CISM, ITIL, or similar are preferred.

Compensation:
The base salary for this role typically ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,000. Additional incentives may be offered as part of a competitive total compensation package. Factors such as geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may influence the salary for this position.
