Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team as a Kitchen Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, select, orient, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline employees to ensure a well-trained and motivated team.
  • Menu Planning and Cost Control: Plan and review menus, estimate food costs, and adjust menus to ensure profitability and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Control inventory levels, minimize waste, and ensure high-quality food preparation.
  • Food Safety and Compliance: Establish, follow, and enforce sanitation standards and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Staff Development: Develop training manuals, best practices, and product knowledge to enhance staff understanding and sales.
  • Financial Management: Manage labor, beverage, and operating costs, and maintain a positive profit and loss statement.
  • Guest Service and Sales: Focus on providing exceptional guest service, building sales, and maintaining high restaurant standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a restaurant kitchen manager.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
