Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced line cook to join our team at Red Mesa Group. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food to exacting standards, working closely with our executive and sous chefs to ensure seamless service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards, using a variety of cooking methods and ingredients.
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to achieve our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations, as well as safety standards, to maintain a clean and healthy working environment.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook.
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
