We are looking for a dedicated Marketing Specialist to manage both internal and external communication initiatives. This role encompasses overseeing our intranet platform, public relations activities, messaging, newsletters, and HR communications, alongside providing support to Marketing and HR teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in external communication, including managing information dissemination and responding to media inquiries.

This position requires a creative and innovative mindset to enhance our communication strategies. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the responsibilities of the Marketing Specialist include:

  • Brand Representation - Overseeing Internal/External Communication & PR
    • Upholding a positive public image and brand reputation for the organization.
    • Crafting press releases and addressing media inquiries.
    • Distributing content through social media and other communication channels.
    • Writing and refining communications for both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Managing media relations, including organizing interviews and issuing statements.
  • Communication Strategy Enhancement
    • Exhibiting professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
    • Effectively communicating in both written and verbal formats.
    • Assessing and contributing to marketing efforts to ensure accurate messaging.
  • Netpresenter Platform Management
    • Facilitating internal messaging to keep employees engaged.
  • Coordination with HR & Marketing:
    • Managing press releases, internal memos, and corporate event promotions.
    • Overseeing digital signage and HR communications.
  • Intranet Content Management
    • Conducting weekly updates across the platform.
    • Collaborating with teams to ensure fresh content is consistently added.
    • Proposing creative methods to engage employees.
  • Newsletter Oversight
    • Collecting and composing content for the newsletter.
    • Reporting on corporate activities and events across various locations.
  • Participating in Employee Engagement Events: Capturing photos and writing stories.
  • Building lasting relationships with influencers and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with Marketing and HR teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in managing and coordinating communication efforts and press releases.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proficiency in Windows 7 and newer.
  • Strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, excellent spelling, grammar knowledge, and proofreading skills.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Marketing/Sales Software such as Hubspot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.
  • Experience with Netpresenter software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the design and construction industry is beneficial.
