Customer Service Liaison

Hampton Roads Transit is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Liaison. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, answering inquiries, and resolving issues related to bus delays, detours, and accidents. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding bus schedules, routes, and fares
• Assist with closing CAF complaints within the customer service department
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing solutions to their concerns
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and feedback
• Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient issue resolution
**Requirements:**
• 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
**Salary:** $35,000 - $42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
