Job Description: As a Business Development Liaison, you will serve as a liaison to the community, educating referral sources about Kempsville Center for Behavioral Health programs and contributing to the development and implementation of referral development plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement special functions, including workshops, seminars, symposiums, receptions, conferences, and open houses, to highlight facility resources and programs.
  • Gather market intelligence and share information with the Director of Business Development to assist with business development strategies.
  • Represent the organization by serving on community committees to build business relationships and make public presentations.
  • Utilize strategic planning to develop short and long-term development goals.
  • Gather information and identify customer needs through effective meeting planning, documenting outcomes, and next steps.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience directly related to mental health care marketing in hospitals or managed care environments.
  • Strong client service background and proven record in business development and sales.
  • Excellent oral, written, and analytical skills, with the ability to present materials clearly and concisely.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and leadership abilities, with the ability to direct a marketing team and establish priorities.
