Position Summary:

The Security Dispatcher & HR Coordinator will oversee dispatch operations, coordinate security staff, and manage various human resources tasks, including recruitment and onboarding. This dual-role position demands exceptional communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a dedication to ensuring a secure and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency communications, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
  • Dispatch security personnel to various sites based on client requirements and incident reports.
  • Monitor security systems, including alarms and surveillance tools, to maintain continuous protection.
  • Keep detailed records of all communications, incidents, and personnel activities.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency services, and other relevant agencies as necessary.
  • Provide clear and concise instructions to security personnel regarding assignments and updates.
  • Assist in the formulation and execution of emergency response protocols and procedures.

Human Resources Responsibilities:

  • Support the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
  • Conduct initial phone interviews and coordinate in-person meetings with hiring managers.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all required documentation is completed.
  • Maintain employee records, including contact details, job roles, and performance assessments.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives for security personnel.
  • Address employee inquiries and provide assistance regarding HR-related issues.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits and payroll.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in security management or HR is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in a dispatch role, preferably within the security sector.
  • Familiarity with HR processes, including recruitment and onboarding.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in dispatch software and HR management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.

Working Conditions:

This role may require shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Occasional travel for recruitment events or training sessions may be necessary.
