Job Purpose:
To serve as a reliable guide for our clients, delivering an outstanding home purchasing experience from initiation to completion and beyond. Meet and exceed the sales and closing targets established by the division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and surpass sales and closing objectives set by the division.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of all product offerings, construction processes, financing options, and mortgage procedures to assist potential buyers effectively.
  • Arrive ahead of schedule to prepare for daily operations.
  • Welcome and establish rapport with every visitor, encouraging them to register their details.
  • Deliver a compelling sales presentation to prospective buyers in line with company training.
  • Organize and attend all client meetings and business appointments.
  • Engage with Brokers and Realtors to build strong relationships.
  • Participate in weekly meetings and mandatory company events.
  • Conduct monthly comparative market analysis (CMA) reports and stay informed about community competition.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community information, including schools, utilities, taxes, shopping, local employment centers, and recreational areas.
  • Consistently follow up with potential buyers and keep detailed notes.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring that inventory and model homes meet brand standards, conducting weekly inspections of inventory homes and daily checks of model homes.
  • Demonstrate a broad understanding of Traylor Bros and its neighborhoods, as well as being knowledgeable about the construction industry, technology, processes, trends, and developments.
  • Adhere to sales and marketing guidelines, along with company policies and procedures.
  • Complete necessary documentation, contracts, community reports, and process forms promptly and accurately.
  • Proactively engage with contracted buyers to instill confidence in their home purchase.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with Neighborhood Construction Managers and provide updates to buyers and Realtors regarding the status of their new homes.

Qualifications:
Enjoy working in a dynamic sales environment, possessing effective communication skills, attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, time management skills, and a focus on customer satisfaction. Build relationships with clients, ensuring they feel like partners in the process. Maintain a positive, professional demeanor, demonstrate resilience, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple tasks effectively. Weekend availability is required.

Educational and Experience Requirements:
Previous experience in new home sales is preferred. A High School Diploma is required.

Compensation:
Commission-based on sales closings against draw.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret information and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Proficient in business English, with the ability to communicate professionally with both internal and external clients.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the capacity to learn new software as necessary.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks without compromising quality or deadlines.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills in a fast-paced work environment.
