The Residential Sales Consultant is chiefly accountable for driving sales of Winchester Carlisle Companies' properties by converting leads and prospects into clients, independently generating leads and referrals, and fostering robust relationships with clients, real estate agents, and within the community. This position offers a base salary along with the potential for commissions up to $1,000 for each home sold.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to sales inquiries from potential buyers; effectively present information about housing options to encourage applications.
  • Negotiate offers; execute and clarify relevant documents for prospective homeowners; conduct sales activities in compliance with applicable regulations to optimize housing occupancy.
  • Ensure timely and consistent follow-up with clients from initial contact through to post-move-in. Maintain records of all communications through a CRM system.
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape, including products, locations, local communities, sales strategies, advertising, and demographics.
  • Regularly record data and prepare timely company reports.
  • Coordinate property showings for potential buyers.
  • Adhere to all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required, while complying with relevant legal mandates. Seek guidance when necessary.

Qualifications

A proven track record in sales, a competitive nature, and a strong drive for success are essential for this role. The Residential Sales Consultant must possess excellent communication skills, whether over the phone, through chat, or via email. Weekend availability is required. Experience in a commission-based sales environment is preferred.

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Texas Real Estate License – not mandatory but preferred
  • At least 3 years of sales experience; experience in new home sales is not required
  • Availability to work weekends
  • Experience collaborating within a sales team environment
