Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Residential Sales Consultant is responsible for driving sales and achieving targets within the new home sales sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed established sales and closing objectives set by the company.
  • Engage with potential buyers to understand their home preferences and present suitable options, including model homes and available lots.
  • Convert visitor traffic into sales at the expected conversion rate.
  • Follow up with all interested buyers to facilitate the sales process and cultivate referral opportunities.
  • Highlight the advantages of utilizing our preferred lending services to meet capture rate goals.
  • Ensure that all prospects fill out a Prospect Registration Card and that their information is submitted to corporate.
  • Guide buyers through the entire process from design selection to closing, ensuring timely coordination of appointments and follow-ups.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of home features, pricing options, and design selections to effectively communicate with prospects.
  • Understand and accurately complete sales agreements and addendums, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Manage and maintain on-site signage as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of proven sales success in new or existing home sales.
  • Demonstrated expertise in product demonstration, sales techniques, and exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to different styles while maintaining a positive company image.
  • A valid driver's license and insurance for business-related travel.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in word processing, email, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new software as needed.

Work Environment:

This role is conducted in a standard sales office environment with typical office equipment. The position requires active engagement, including travel for sales activities, walking, and standing.

The work environment is fast-paced, with frequent changes in schedule and priorities, requiring adaptability.

Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds may be necessary.

Work hours may vary.
