Job Purpose:
To serve as a reliable partner for our clients, ensuring a remarkable home buying journey from initiation to completion and beyond. Meet and surpass monthly sales and closing targets established by the division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed sales and closing targets set by the division.
  • Thoroughly understand and effectively communicate all product offerings, construction processes, financing options, and mortgage procedures to assist potential buyers.
  • Arrive early to prepare for daily operations and ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Engage with each visitor, fostering rapport and encouraging them to register as guests.
  • Deliver a compelling sales presentation to prospective buyers in line with company training.
  • Schedule and participate in all customer meetings and business appointments.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with Brokers and Realtors.
  • Attend weekly meetings and mandatory company events.
  • Conduct monthly comparative market analysis (CMA) reports and stay informed about community competition.
  • Remain knowledgeable about local community information, including schools, utilities, shopping, and recreational areas.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective buyers and keep detailed notes.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring that inventory and model homes meet brand standards, conducting weekly inspections of inventory homes and daily inspections of model homes.
  • Possess a broad understanding of Traylor Bros and its neighborhoods, along with knowledge of industry trends and developments.
  • Adhere to sales and marketing policies as well as company procedures.
  • Complete necessary documentation, contracts, and community reports promptly and accurately.
  • Proactively engage with contracted buyers to instill confidence in their home purchase.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with construction managers and provide regular updates to buyers and Realtors regarding the status of their new homes.

Qualifications:
Must thrive in a dynamic sales environment, demonstrating effective communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities. A positive and professional demeanor, resilience, adaptability to changing priorities, and multitasking capabilities are essential. Weekend availability is required.

Educational and Experience Requirements:
Previous experience in new home sales is preferred. A High School Diploma is required.

Compensation:
Commission-based on sales closings against draw.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret information, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
  • Proficient in business English, with the ability to communicate professionally with both internal and external clients.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new software as needed.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks without compromising quality or deadlines.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills in a fast-paced work environment.
