Job Purpose:
To establish trust with our clients and deliver an outstanding home buying experience from initial contact through to closing and beyond. You will strive to meet or surpass the sales and closing targets set by the division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed the sales and closing targets established by the division.
  • Thoroughly understand and effectively communicate all product offerings, construction processes, financing options, and mortgage procedures to assist potential buyers.
  • Arrive early to prepare for daily operations and conduct opening procedures.
  • Welcome and engage each visitor, encouraging them to complete a guest registration card.
  • Develop and deliver a compelling sales presentation to prospective buyers in line with company training.
  • Schedule and participate in all customer meetings and business appointments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Brokers and Realtors.
  • Attend weekly meetings and all mandatory company events.
  • Conduct monthly comparative market analysis (CMA) reports and stay informed about community competition.
  • Keep up to date with community information, including schools, utilities, tax details, shopping, local employment centers, and recreational areas.
  • Consistently follow up with potential buyers and maintain detailed notes.
  • Take ownership of the community by ensuring that inventory and model homes meet brand standards, conducting weekly walkthroughs of inventory homes and daily checks of model homes.
  • Possess a broad knowledge of Traylor Bros and its neighborhoods while staying informed about industry trends and developments.
  • Adhere to sales and marketing policies as well as company procedures.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, contracts, community reports, and process forms promptly and accurately.
  • Proactively engage with contracted buyers to instill confidence in their new home purchase.
  • Hold weekly meetings with Neighborhood Construction Managers and provide updates to buyers and Realtors regarding contract statuses.

Qualifications:
Enjoy working in a dynamic sales environment, possessing effective communication skills, attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and a focus on customer satisfaction. You should be a relationship builder who makes customers feel like partners. A positive and professional attitude, resilience, adaptability to changing priorities, and multitasking capabilities are essential. Weekend availability is required.

Educational/Experience Requirements:
Previous experience in new home sales is preferred. A High School Diploma is required.

Compensation:
Commission-based on sales closings against draw.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
  • Spanish fluency is a plus.
  • Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, as well as troubleshoot to resolve issues.
  • Knowledge of business English and the ability to communicate professionally with both internal and external customers, both orally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new software as needed.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks without compromising quality or deadlines.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills in a fast-paced work environment.
