Job Overview

SteelHead Management, a comprehensive property management firm established to oversee multifamily and mixed-use properties, is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to fill the role of Leasing Specialist. Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand and align with financial objectives while managing properties in accordance with established policies.
  • Assist in the formulation of annual budgets and revenue forecasts.
  • Ensure timely collection and processing of rents and associated fees.
  • Manage legal documentation and processes as per state regulations and company protocols.
  • Maintain effective communication with vendors regarding scheduling and billing matters.
  • Handle accounts payable invoices and manage petty cash effectively.
  • Maximize occupancy rates through strategic leasing initiatives.
  • Implement marketing strategies to attract potential residents.
  • Monitor and analyze market competition and operational metrics.
  • Provide exceptional representation of the company at all times.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Lead emergency response efforts for the community, ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Address resident inquiries and concerns promptly to maintain satisfaction.
  • Design and execute resident engagement programs to foster community spirit.
  • Facilitate ongoing training and development for staff to ensure high performance.
  • Organize staff schedules and assignments to optimize productivity.
  • Promote teamwork and a positive work environment among staff.
  • Ensure timely management of personnel-related administrative tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain community standards and address maintenance needs.
  • Guarantee the availability of market-ready apartments.
  • Ensure effective communication of service requests to maintenance teams.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Preferred certifications: Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in multifamily property management.
  • Familiarity with RealPage software is advantageous.
  • Possess a positive attitude and strong motivational skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities are essential.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screening.
